Overview
**JHL1101 + CHOP** is a combination therapy consisting of JHL1101—a biosimilar of rituximab—combined with the CHOP chemotherapy regimen. CHOP includes cyclophosphamide, doxorubicin hydrochloride (hydroxydaunomycin/adriamycin), vincristine sulfate (Oncovin), and prednisone. JHL1101, as a rituximab biosimilar, is a monoclonal antibody targeting the CD20 antigen on B-cells, leading to their destruction primarily by antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity and complement-dependent cytotoxicity. The CHOP regimen’s components are cytotoxic agents that disrupt cell division (cyclophosphamide: alkylating agent; doxorubicin: topoisomerase inhibitor; vincristine: microtubule inhibitor) and corticosteroid (prednisone) which induces cancer cell apoptosis. This combination is primarily indicated for non-Hodgkin lymphoma, especially diffuse large B-cell lymphoma, and is often used as first-line therapy for aggressive lymphomas[1][4][6].
