JKN23051 is a potent and highly selective small molecule inhibitor of Janus kinase 1 (JAK1), developed by Langyu Pharmaceutical Technology for the treatment of asthma. Administered via inhalation as a dry powder, the drug is designed to target inflammatory signaling pathways in the lungs—specifically those mediated by cytokines such as IL-4, IL-5, and IL-13—while minimizing systemic exposure. This localized approach aims to reduce the risk of systemic adverse effects typically associated with oral JAK inhibitors, such as immunosuppression, infections, or hematological abnormalities.
