Overview

KITE-753 is an autologous chimeric antigen receptor T (CAR-T) cell therapy developed for the treatment of B-cell malignancies, specifically relapsed and/or refractory large B-cell lymphoma. The therapy uses a rapid manufacturing process to engineer a patient’s own T cells with a bicistronic lentiviral vector, resulting in the expression of both anti-CD19 and anti-CD20 CARs on the cell surface. This dual-targeting approach enables recognition and elimination of tumor cells expressing either CD19 or CD20 antigens. KITE-753 demonstrates enhanced potency, proliferation, IL-2 production, and antitumor efficacy compared to traditional CAR-T products. It is currently in Phase 1 clinical trials[1][2][3][5][6][8].
