Drug intelligence / Profile preview
KJ-C2219 is an allogeneic chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy developed by CARsgen Therapeutics. It targets both CD19 and CD20 antigens and is designed for the treatment of hematologic malignancies such as B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma, as well as autoimmune diseases including systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) and systemic sclerosis. The therapy is based on CARsgen’s THANK-u Plus platform, which enhances expansion and persistence of CAR-T cells regardless of NKG2A expression levels on natural killer (NK) cells. This platform aims to improve antitumor efficacy in the presence of NK cells compared to previous generations. As an allogeneic product, KJ-C2219 uses donor-derived T-cells rather than a patient’s own cells[1][3][5][7].
