KRAS-targeted mRNA therapeutic vaccine is an investigational cancer vaccine developed by West China Hospital of Sichuan University. It utilizes messenger RNA (mRNA) technology to encode specific KRAS mutant epitopes, aiming to stimulate the patient's immune system to recognize and attack tumor cells harboring KRAS mutations. The vaccine is currently being evaluated in a Phase 1 clinical trial (ChiCTR2500103833) for patients with advanced KRAS-mutant solid tumors who have failed or are intolerant to standard treatment options. By delivering mRNA that encodes for common KRAS mutations (such as G12D, G12V, or G12C), the vaccine intends to induce a robust T-cell mediated immune response against the oncogenic driver.
