Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Lalikinogene sifuplasmid is a recombinant DNA plasmid (pGX6010) that encodes human interleukin-12 (IL-12) subunits alpha (IL12A) and beta (IL12B). Developed by Inovio Pharmaceuticals, it is one of the two active plasmid components of Voceryq (doruxapapogene ralaplasmid and lalikinogene sifuplasmid-gxfd), which received FDA accelerated approval on October 30, 2026. Voceryq is indicated to reduce the frequency of surgical papilloma excisions in adults with recurrent respiratory papillomatosis (RRP), a rare chronic disease of the airways caused by human papillomavirus (HPV) types 6 and 11. Within the combination, lalikinogene sifuplasmid acts as an immunotherapy adjuvant, expressing IL-12 to enhance host cell-mediated immune responses against HPV-infected cells, while the co-administered plasmid (doruxapapogene ralaplasmid) encodes the HPV-6 and HPV-11 E6 and E7 antigens. The therapy is administered via intramuscular injection followed by electroporation using the CELLECTRA 5PSP device.
