Overview
LT-002 is a novel small molecule proteolysis-targeting chimera (PROTAC) developed by Leadingtac Pharmaceutical for the treatment of inflammatory skin diseases, including hidradenitis suppurativa and atopic dermatitis. It acts as an IRAK4 degrader, targeting interleukin-1 receptor-associated kinase 4 (IRAK4) for degradation via the ubiquitin-proteasome system. This mechanism disrupts key signaling pathways involved in inflammation and immune response. LT-002 is the first IRAK4 protein degrader to enter clinical trials in China and only the second globally after Kymera's KT‑474. The drug is being evaluated primarily as an oral therapy, with ongoing Phase 2 studies in hidradenitis suppurativa and atopic dermatitis[1][2][5][7].
