Drug intelligence / Profile preview
LUCAR-20S is an allogeneic chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T cell therapy engineered to target the CD20 antigen, which is expressed on the surface of B cells. Upon administration, these donor-derived CAR-T cells specifically recognize and kill CD20-expressing tumor cells. The therapy is being developed for use in patients with relapsed or refractory (R/R) CD20-positive B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphomas, including diffuse large B-cell lymphoma, follicular lymphoma, mantle cell lymphoma, and small lymphocytic lymphoma. As an "off-the-shelf" allogeneic product, it offers potential advantages over autologous CAR-T therapies by enabling immediate availability without the need for patient-specific manufacturing[1][2][3][7].
