LUCAR-G39P cells is an investigational dual-targeted chimeric antigen receptor T-cell (CAR-T) therapy designed to simultaneously target the CD19 and CD20 antigens on malignant B cells. Developed by The First Affiliated Hospital with Nanjing Medical University, this cell therapy aims to improve treatment outcomes and prevent antigen escape in patients with relapsed or refractory B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma. By targeting two distinct B-cell markers, the therapy is intended to overcome the limitations of single-target CAR-T products, such as heterogeneous antigen expression. It is currently being evaluated in a Phase I clinical trial where patients receive a single infusion following a lymphodepleting conditioning regimen of cyclophosphamide and fludarabine.
