Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**LZM002C** is an investigational recombinant human-murine chimeric monoclonal antibody directed against CD20, developed by Livzon MABPharm as a biosimilar candidate to rituximab. In the registered Chinese Phase 1 study CTR20171007, intravenous LZM002C was compared with MabThera for pharmacokinetic, pharmacodynamic, safety, tolerability, and immunogenicity similarity in patients with CD20-positive B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma. By binding CD20 on B cells, it is intended to deplete CD20-positive B cells through rituximab-like immune-mediated cytolytic mechanisms, including antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity.
