Drug intelligence / Profile preview
A combination of methylprednisolone, a synthetic glucocorticoid corticosteroid, and upadacitinib (RINVOQ), a selective JAK1 inhibitor. This combination may have enhanced anti-inflammatory effects but also potentially increased immunosuppressive risks. Methylprednisolone acts through glucocorticoid receptor binding to reduce inflammation, while upadacitinib selectively inhibits JAK1 signaling to block inflammatory cytokine pathways.
