Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Mosunetuzumab is a full-length, humanized bispecific monoclonal antibody that targets both CD20 on B cells and CD3 on T cells. By binding to these two proteins, it brings malignant B cells (such as those in follicular lymphoma) into close proximity with cytotoxic T cells, enabling the T cells to recognize and kill the cancerous B cells. This mechanism classifies it as a bispecific T-cell engager (BiTE). Mosunetuzumab is approved for adults with relapsed or refractory follicular lymphoma after at least two prior lines of systemic therapy. It was developed by Genentech and is marketed under the brand name Lunsumio[1][2][3][4][5][7][8].
