Drug intelligence / Profile preview
NRT-YHD_001 is a GalNAc-conjugated modified antisense microRNA targeting let-7i-5p, developed by NEORNAT Inc. as a macrophage checkpoint inhibitor for the treatment of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). By selectively inhibiting let-7i-5p, the drug functions as a regulator of macrophage activation within the tumor microenvironment, promoting phagocytosis and demonstrating superior antitumor efficacy compared to sorafenib in preclinical models. The compound is designed for liver-specific delivery via GalNAc conjugation and is administered intravenously. NRT-YHD_001 has completed IND-enabling studies, with regulatory submissions to the MFDS (Korea) and FDA (U.S.) planned for 2026.
