Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Ofatumumab + ifosfamide + carboplatin + etoposide is a combination chemotherapy regimen used primarily as a second-line treatment for relapsed or refractory diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL), grade 3b follicular lymphoma, and transformed follicular lymphoma. Ofatumumab is a monoclonal antibody targeting CD20 on B lymphocytes. Ifosfamide is an alkylating agent that interferes with DNA replication. Carboplatin is a platinum-based chemotherapeutic that causes DNA crosslinking and apoptosis. Etoposide inhibits topoisomerase II, leading to DNA strand breaks and cell death. This combination aims to improve outcomes in patients who have failed first-line therapies such as R-CHOP[1][2][3].
