Bendamustine is an **alkylating agent** that causes DNA crosslinking and cell death, and rituximab is a monoclonal antibody targeting CD20 on B-lymphocytes, leading to cell lysis primarily via immune mechanisms. This triple regimen has been explored in hematologic cancers, particularly relapsed/refractory diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL), especially in patients unsuitable for intensive salvage chemotherapy or autologous transplantation[1].
