Drug intelligence / Profile preview
PBCAR20A is an investigational allogeneic (off-the-shelf) CAR-T cell therapy developed by Precision BioSciences. It is engineered to target CD20, a B-cell specific surface antigen expressed in various B-cell malignancies. The therapy uses genome-edited donor-derived T cells that are modified with a chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) to specifically recognize and kill CD20-expressing tumor cells. PBCAR20A was developed using Precision BioSciences' ARCUS genome-editing technology and is administered via intravenous infusion. Its primary indications have included relapsed/refractory non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL), chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL), small lymphocytic lymphoma (SLL), and mantle cell lymphoma (MCL)[1][3][4][5][7].
