Overview

Plamotamab is a humanized bispecific monoclonal antibody designed to target both CD20, a surface antigen highly expressed on B cells and in B-cell malignancies, and CD3, a T cell surface antigen. By binding simultaneously to CD20 on malignant B cells and CD3 on T cells, plamotamab recruits cytotoxic T lymphocytes to induce targeted killing of CD20-expressing tumor cells. It is being developed primarily for the treatment of relapsed or refractory non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL), including diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) and follicular lymphoma (FL), as well as other hematologic malignancies such as chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL). Plamotamab has demonstrated clinical activity in early-phase trials with manageable safety profiles. The drug is under investigation both as monotherapy and in combination regimens for patients with relapsed/refractory B-cell malignancies[1][3][5][6][7].
