Drug intelligence / Profile preview
PNQ-701 is a selective Janus kinase 1 (JAK1) inhibitor being developed by Impetis Biosciences for the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis. As an oral small molecule, it is engineered to provide high selectivity for the JAK1 isoform while exhibiting minimal inhibition of JAK2 and JAK3. This selectivity profile is intended to reduce the risk of adverse events typically associated with pan-JAK inhibitors, such as anemia or neutropenia, which are often linked to JAK2 and JAK3 inhibition. The asset has been licensed to Vyome Holdings for further development and is currently in the IND-enabling phase, with plans to be IND-ready in the near future.
