Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Pv-R CYVE 1 + Pv-R CYVE 2 is a chemoimmunotherapy regimen consisting of two cycles of polatuzumab vedotin, rituximab, cytarabine, and etoposide. It is primarily investigated for the treatment of mature B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma (MB-NHL) and classical Hodgkin lymphoma (cHL) in children, adolescents, and young adults. The regimen integrates the targeted anti-CD79b antibody-drug conjugate polatuzumab vedotin and the anti-CD20 monoclonal antibody rituximab with the cytotoxic agents cytarabine (a pyrimidine analog) and etoposide (a topoisomerase II inhibitor). This combination aims to provide robust disease control while facilitating a reduction in anthracycline exposure and radiation therapy, thereby mitigating long-term toxicities in younger patient populations. The regimen is a key component of clinical trials sponsored by New York Medical College.
