PPI-802

PPI-802 is an investigational small molecule Janus kinase 1 (JAK1) inhibitor currently under development by ProPhase Labs. Acquired in October 2023 from Global BioLife, the compound is designed to selectively target the JAK1 isoform, which is a critical mediator in the signaling pathways of various pro-inflammatory cytokines, including interleukin-6 (IL-6) and interferon-gamma (IFN-gamma). By inhibiting JAK1, PPI-802 aims to modulate the JAK-STAT signaling pathway to suppress chronic inflammation associated with autoimmune conditions such as inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) and psoriasis.
