Overview

Pro-miniCHOP is a combination chemotherapy regimen being investigated for the treatment of diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) in treatment-naive elderly patients. The regimen is described as a "Pro-miniCHOP-like regimen" and is preceded by an initial "Pro regimen" consisting of orelabrutinib (a Bruton's tyrosine kinase inhibitor), pomalidomide (an immunomodulatory drug), and rituximab (an anti-CD20 monoclonal antibody). The "miniCHOP" component typically refers to a reduced-intensity version of the standard CHOP regimen, which includes cyclophosphamide (an alkylating agent), doxorubicin (an anthracycline and topoisomerase II inhibitor), vincristine (a microtubule inhibitor), and prednisone (a corticosteroid). This combination aims to provide a potent anti-lymphoma effect while potentially mitigating toxicity in elderly patients.
