Drug intelligence / Profile preview
PRT-001 is a targeted protein degrader (TPD) being developed by Protai for the treatment of oncology indications, including breast cancer and other solid tumors. It specifically targets KAT6A (Lysine acetyltransferase 6A), an epigenetic regulator often dysregulated in various cancers. Developed using Protai's AI-driven AIMS™ platform, which integrates structural proteomics and mass spectrometry, PRT-001 aims to eliminate KAT6A protein activity rather than just inhibiting it. The program is currently in the IND-enabling stage, with an IND filing anticipated in 2027.
