Drug intelligence / Profile preview
PTH-0317 is a small molecule inhibitor of RAS proteins developed by Protheragen for the treatment of solid tumors. RAS proteins (KRAS, HRAS, and NRAS) are small GTPases that act as critical nodes in signaling pathways controlling cell growth, differentiation, and survival. Mutations in RAS genes are highly prevalent in various cancers, leading to constitutive activation and uncontrolled tumor growth. PTH-0317 is designed to target these proteins and is currently in Phase 1 clinical development.
