Drug intelligence / Profile preview
PZ01 CAR-T is a chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T cell therapy developed for the treatment of B-cell lymphomas. CAR-T therapies are autologous cell therapies in which a patient's own T cells are genetically engineered ex vivo to express a synthetic receptor (CAR) that targets specific antigens on cancer cells; in this case, PZ01 CAR-T cells are designed to target B-cell lymphoma antigens. Upon infusion, these modified T cells recognize and kill malignant B lymphocytes through direct cytotoxic effects. PZ01 CAR-T is currently in Phase 1 clinical trials for B-cell lymphoma[1].
