QLS2313 is a novel trispecific antibody developed by Qilu Pharmaceutical for the treatment of relapsed or refractory B-cell hematological malignancies. It is designed to simultaneously target CD79b and CD20 on the surface of B-cells and CD3 on T-cells. By binding to these three targets, QLS2313 acts as a T-cell engager, facilitating the formation of an immunological synapse between cytotoxic T-cells and malignant B-cells. This interaction triggers T-cell activation and the subsequent release of perforins and granzymes, leading to the lysis of the target B-cells. The dual targeting of B-cell antigens (CD20 and CD79b) is intended to enhance anti-tumor activity and potentially overcome resistance mechanisms such as antigen escape that can occur with monospecific or bispecific therapies. QLS2313 is currently being evaluated in Phase I clinical trials for patients with B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL), chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL), and small lymphocytic lymphoma (SLL).
