Overview

R-mabHDI is an investigational monoclonal antibody developed by American Scitech International that targets the CD20 antigen, a protein primarily expressed on the surface of B-lymphocytes. It is a rituximab-based therapeutic (likely a biosimilar or specific formulation) designed to treat CD20-positive malignancies. The drug has been evaluated in Phase III clinical trials for the treatment of late-stage, widespread, or recurrent lymphocytic predominant Hodgkin's lymphoma (LPHL). In these studies, R-mabHDI is administered intravenously in combination with the standard ABVD (doxorubicin, bleomycin, vinblastine, and dacarbazine) chemotherapy regimen. Its mechanism of action involves B-cell depletion through complement-dependent cytotoxicity (CDC) and antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity (ADCC).
