Overview

RCHOP + R-miniCHOP refers to the use of two related combination chemotherapy regimens for the treatment of non-Hodgkin lymphoma, particularly diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL). Both regimens combine five drugs: - Rituximab (a monoclonal antibody targeting CD20 on B cells) - Cyclophosphamide (an alkylating agent/chemotherapy) - Doxorubicin (an anthracycline chemotherapy) - Vincristine (a vinca alkaloid chemotherapy) - Prednisolone or prednisone (a corticosteroid) RCHOP is the standard-dose regimen used in most adults. R-miniCHOP is a reduced-intensity version designed for elderly or frail patients, especially those over 80 years old, to reduce toxicity while maintaining efficacy[1][4]. Both regimens work by combining immunotherapy with cytotoxic agents and steroids to destroy malignant lymphocytes.
