Drug intelligence / Profile preview
RDc001 is an orally administered small molecule selective Janus kinase 1 (JAK1) inhibitor being developed by Henan Ruida Pharmaceutical Technology for the treatment of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), including ulcerative colitis and Crohn's disease. By selectively inhibiting JAK1, the drug aims to modulate the signaling pathways of various pro-inflammatory cytokines involved in the pathogenesis of IBD while potentially minimizing side effects associated with the inhibition of other JAK family members (JAK2, JAK3, and TYK2). It is currently in Phase 1 clinical development in China, where it is being evaluated for safety, tolerability, and pharmacokinetics in healthy subjects and patients.
