Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Regansaibisitan (热感赛比斯坦颗粒) is a traditional Uyghur medicine developed and manufactured by Hotan Uyghur Pharmaceutical. It is a multi-herb granule formulation composed of 12 ingredients, including Fructus Corni (破布木果), poppy shell (罂粟壳), and licorice (甘草). The formulation contains natural alkaloids such as morphine, codeine, and papaverine derived from the poppy components, which provide antitussive and analgesic properties. According to traditional Uyghur medical theory, the drug works by clearing abnormal bile fluid, relieving cough, and resolving phlegm. It is primarily indicated for the treatment of hot-type colds accompanied by fever, cough, and respiratory tract infections. The product is approved in China and is listed in the Ministry of Health Drug Standards for Uyghur Medicine.
