Overview
RG002 is an mRNA-based therapeutic vaccine developed by RinuaGene Biotechnology for the treatment of human papillomavirus (HPV) type 16 or 18-related cervical intraepithelial neoplasia (CIN2/3) and other HPV-associated malignancies. This vaccine uses lipid nanoparticle-encapsulated mRNA to stimulate an immune response against HPV antigens, functioning as an immunostimulant. It has received FDA IND approval and is currently in Phase I/II clinical trials. The code RG002 is also used by Rigerna Therapeutics for a separate program, its C3 siRNA RG002C0106, and by Shanghai Lingji Biotechnology for an oral small molecule in advanced solid tumors.
