Overview

RG6540 is an investigational bispecific monoclonal antibody developed by Genentech (a member of the Roche Group) for the treatment of hematologic malignancies. It is designed to simultaneously target two distinct B-cell surface antigens, CD19 and CD20. By engaging both targets on malignant B cells, RG6540 aims to enhance anti-tumor activity and potentially overcome resistance mechanisms associated with single-antigen targeting, such as antigen escape. The drug is currently in Phase I clinical development, representing a biologic therapeutic approach to treating various heme tumors.
