Drug intelligence / Profile preview
R-NIMP is a chemoimmunotherapy combination regimen evaluated by the French Innovative Leukemia Organisation (FILO) for the treatment of relapsed aggressive B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphomas, such as diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL). The regimen consists of rituximab (a CD20-directed cytolytic antibody), vinorelbine (a vinca alkaloid microtubule inhibitor), ifosfamide (an alkylating agent), mitoxantrone (a type II topoisomerase inhibitor and DNA intercalator), and prednisone (a corticosteroid). This combination aims to provide an effective salvage therapy for patients who have failed prior treatments by utilizing multiple mechanisms of action to target malignant B-cells. The regimen was specifically studied in a Phase II clinical trial (NCT00161109) to estimate the complete response rate in patients with relapsed aggressive lymphomas.
