Overview

Rituximab-ADNAB is a non-covalent antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) developed by Mayo Clinic and exclusively licensed to Sorrento Therapeutics through its subsidiary ADNAB, Inc. This innovative platform combines the tumor-targeting monoclonal antibody rituximab with nanoparticle albumin-bound paclitaxel. The drug is designed to treat hematological malignancies, solid tumors, and potentially autoimmune diseases by specifically delivering a cytotoxic payload to target cells. Two ADNAB candidates, including Rituximab-ADNAB, were already in investigator-initiated human trials at the time of the announcement.
