Rojianz

Rojianz is an oral small molecule Janus kinase (JAK) inhibitor developed and marketed by the Iranian pharmaceutical company Fanavaran Rojan Mohaghegh Daru (Rojan Pharma). It contains tofacitinib citrate, which selectively inhibits JAK1 and JAK3, thereby blocking the signaling of various cytokines involved in the pathogenesis of inflammatory and autoimmune diseases. Rojianz is approved for the treatment of moderate-to-severe active rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, and ulcerative colitis. It is typically administered as a 5 mg tablet and represents a local generic formulation of the well-established JAK inhibitor tofacitinib.
