Overview

ROR2-specific monoclonal antibody is a therapeutic agent designed to target and modulate the activity of Receptor Tyrosine Kinase-Like Orphan Receptor 2 (ROR2). In research related to pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH), ROR2 has been identified as a key regulator of Wnt signaling balance in pulmonary pericytes. Overactivation and hyperphosphorylation of ROR2 in PAH pericytes drive phenotypic switching, leading to microvascular instability and vascular remodeling. This monoclonal antibody works by neutralizing aberrant ROR2 signaling, thereby restoring physiological Wnt signaling balance, stabilizing endothelial-pericyte interactions, and preserving microvascular homeostasis. It is currently being investigated in preclinical models for its potential to attenuate PAH progression.
