ruxolitinib + NB-UVB phototherapy

Ruxolitinib + NB-UVB phototherapy is a combination treatment for **nonsegmental vitiligo** and possibly other inflammatory dermatoses. Ruxolitinib cream is a topical Janus kinase (JAK) inhibitor that reduces skin inflammation, while NB-UVB (narrowband ultraviolet B) phototherapy is a non-pharmaceutical therapy using UVB light (311–312 nm) to modulate the cutaneous immune response, suppress inflammatory cytokines, and stimulate melanocyte repigmentation. This combination is used in patients not achieving adequate improvement with ruxolitinib monotherapy. The combination has been shown to be well tolerated with evidence of accelerated and increased rates of repigmentation compared to ruxolitinib cream alone, particularly among early nonresponders. Further clinical studies are warranted to define superiority and long-term benefit[1][3][5][6].
