Drug intelligence / Profile preview
A combination therapy consisting of ruxolitinib (a JAK1 and JAK2 inhibitor) and pomalidomide (an immunomodulating drug). Ruxolitinib works by inhibiting Janus kinase signaling pathways, which are involved in the pathophysiology of myelofibrosis. Pomalidomide inhibits angiogenesis and has direct anti-tumor effects. This combination has been studied primarily for the treatment of myelofibrosis.
