Satya Pharma Innovations SOS1 inhibitor is a preclinical-stage small molecule being developed for the treatment of KRAS-driven cancers, specifically non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) and colorectal cancer (CRC). The compound acts by inhibiting Son of Sevenless homolog 1 (SOS1), a guanine nucleotide exchange factor (GEF) that facilitates the activation of RAS proteins by promoting the exchange of GDP for GTP. By disrupting the SOS1-RAS interaction, the drug reduces downstream RAS signaling, which is a key driver in many solid tumors. Preclinical studies have demonstrated that these inhibitors possess low nanomolar potency and show single-agent activity in models characterized by EGFR and Pan-RAS mutations.
