Drug intelligence / Profile preview
SBT-102 is a cell-penetrating single domain antibody (sdAb) developed by Singh Biotechnology that targets the KRAS protein. It is designed to penetrate the cell membrane and bind to intracellular KRAS, inhibiting its GTPase activity. This inhibition disrupts downstream signaling through the MAPK pathway, specifically reducing levels of phosphorylated ERK (P-ERK), which is a key driver of cell proliferation in cancers harboring KRAS mutations, such as pancreatic, colorectal, and lung cancers. While closely related to SBT-100, SBT-102 has demonstrated significant in vitro inhibition of KRAS GTPase activity comparable to polyclonal antibodies.
