SBT-300 is a preclinical-stage therapeutic single-domain antibody (sdAb), also known as a nanobody, developed by Singh Biotechnology. It is engineered to target and neutralize Tumor Necrosis Factor-alpha (TNF-alpha), a key pro-inflammatory cytokine implicated in the pathogenesis of various autoimmune and inflammatory disorders. Due to the small molecular size of the sdAb platform (approximately 15 kDa), SBT-300 is designed to offer enhanced tissue penetration and potentially cross biological barriers more effectively than conventional monoclonal antibodies. The program is currently being investigated for the treatment of inflammatory conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis, Crohn's disease, and psoriasis.
