**scFvCD20 + antagomiR155** is an experimental combination therapeutic comprising an anti-CD20 single-chain antibody fragment (scFvCD20) chemically conjugated to an antagomiR targeting microRNA-155 (antagomiR155). The scFvCD20 moiety directs the construct specifically to B cells expressing CD20, enabling cell-targeted delivery of the miR-155 inhibitor. The antagomiR155 inhibits endogenous miR-155 function, a microRNA implicated in B cell pathogenicity, immune response dysregulation, and pro-inflammatory signaling in several autoimmune and inflammatory diseases. The drug is being investigated for targeted suppression of miR-155 in experimental models of B cell-related diseases, including autoimmune myasthenia gravis (EAMG), by intravenous administration. The mechanism leverages antibody-targeted RNA interference to silence miR-155 selectively in CD20+ B cells, aiming to modulate immune function and autoantibody production[1].
