Drug intelligence / Profile preview
SCTB35 is a bispecific antibody that targets both CD20 and CD3, designed to function as a T-cell engager. By binding simultaneously to the B-lymphocyte antigen CD20 on B cells and the T cell surface glycoprotein CD3 on T cells, SCTB35 mediates the formation of immune synapses between T cells and tumor (or pathogenic) B cells. This interaction leads to effective activation of T cells and subsequent killing of target B cells. The drug is being developed primarily for hematologic malignancies such as relapsed/refractory CD20-positive B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma, as well as for autoimmune diseases like systemic lupus erythematosus. SCTB35 was initially developed by Shenzhou Cell Engineering Co. Ltd., with Sinocelltech Group Ltd. also involved in its development[1][2][3][4][5].
