Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Shenyuandan is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) formula, specifically a Yiqi Zhuyu (Qi-supplementing and blood-stasis-resolving) preparation, developed by the Beijing Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine. It is administered as capsules and is currently being evaluated in clinical trials to improve coronary microcirculatory dysfunction in patients with non-ST-elevation acute coronary syndrome (NSTE-ACS) undergoing elective percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI). The formula is intended to be used as an adjunct to standardized care to mitigate perioperative microvascular injury and improve clinical outcomes in cardiovascular patients.
