Overview

SIR-T CD19xCD20 is a preclinical-stage bispecific cell therapy developed by Angeles Therapeutics. It utilizes the company's proprietary Synthetic Immune Receptor (SIR-T) platform, which is designed to improve the persistence, metabolic fitness, and anti-tumor activity of engineered T cells compared to traditional CAR-T therapies. This specific candidate is engineered to simultaneously recognize and bind to CD19 and CD20, two well-validated antigens expressed on the surface of B-cell malignancies. By employing a dual-targeting approach, SIR-T CD19xCD20 aims to overcome tumor heterogeneity and prevent relapse caused by antigen loss (antigen escape), a significant challenge in the treatment of B-cell lymphomas and leukemias.
