Overview

**Sirogen** is a bioresorbable, sirolimus-eluting collagen implant historically referred to as **Coll-R** or **Coll-Rtm**. It is placed intraoperatively around the arteriovenous fistula anastomosis to provide localized perivascular sirolimus exposure, aiming to inhibit mTOR-driven vascular smooth-muscle proliferation and neointimal hyperplasia that can impair fistula maturation and patency in patients receiving hemodialysis. Vascular Therapies developed the implant for hemodialysis vascular access; the Phase 3 ACCESS 2 study evaluated it during surgical AV fistula creation.
