Overview

SYHX-1901 is an oral small molecule dual inhibitor targeting Janus kinase (JAK) and spleen tyrosine kinase (SYK), developed by CSPC Ouyi Pharmaceutical, a subsidiary of CSPC Pharmaceutical Group. It is being investigated primarily for the treatment of moderate to severe plaque psoriasis, vitiligo, and alopecia areata. The drug acts by inhibiting key signaling pathways involved in inflammatory and autoimmune responses—specifically the JAK/STAT pathway and SYK-mediated signaling—which play roles in T cell and B cell activation. This mechanism positions it as a potential therapy for various immune-mediated skin disorders[1][3][5]. Clinical trials have reached phase II for plaque psoriasis, vitiligo, and alopecia areata[1][3][4]. There has also been preclinical or early clinical interest in rheumatoid arthritis and systemic lupus erythematosus[1][3].
