TKP-AII-01 is an investigational 18F-labeled peptide radiopharmaceutical developed by TheraCea Pharma for the positron emission tomography (PET) imaging of RAS-driven cancers. RAS mutations are among the most prevalent oncogenic drivers in human malignancies, including lung, colorectal, and pancreatic cancers. TKP-AII-01 utilizes a specific peptide sequence labeled with the radioisotope fluorine-18 (18F) to target and bind to RAS proteins, allowing for the non-invasive visualization and quantification of RAS expression or activity within the tumor microenvironment. This diagnostic agent is designed to assist in patient stratification for RAS-targeted therapies and to monitor real-time molecular responses to treatment. It is currently in the transition from preclinical development to Phase 1 clinical trials.
