A TLR4 neutralizing antibody is a type of monoclonal antibody designed to bind to Toll-like Receptor 4 (TLR4) and block its activation by ligands such as lipopolysaccharide (LPS) or endogenous damage-associated molecular patterns (DAMPs) like heme. TLR4 is a key component of the innate immune system, and its overactivation is implicated in various inflammatory conditions, sepsis, and vascular disorders.
