Overview

TRL10001 is a preclinical-stage human monoclonal antibody developed by Trellis Bioscience and licensed to Relevant Biosciences. It specifically targets the extracellular domain of Anaplastic Lymphoma Kinase (ALK), a tumor-associated antigen that is expressed during nervous system development and in various malignancies but is notably absent in normal adult tissues. TRL10001 exhibits high affinity (100pM) and undergoes rapid internalization within 30 minutes in neuroblastoma cells, making it an ideal candidate for development as an Antibody-Drug Conjugate (ADC). Its mechanism of action involves binding to ALK on the surface of tumor cells to inhibit oncogenic signaling and potentially serving as a delivery vehicle for cytotoxic payloads. The therapeutic is currently being investigated for the treatment of neuroblastoma, lung cancer, thyroid cancer, and brain tumors.
