Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**TS01** is an investigational sequential dual-thrombolytic regimen developed by Thrombolytic Science International for acute ischemic stroke and acute myocardial infarction. It consists of a low intravenous dose of alteplase, a recombinant tissue plasminogen activator, followed by intravenous HisproUK, a proprietary mutant prourokinase. Alteplase first creates degraded fibrin on the surface of an occlusive clot; HisproUK then preferentially acts at this degraded fibrin to promote localized plasminogen activation and fibrin degradation. The strategy is intended to achieve clot-selective fibrinolysis while limiting systemic fibrinolytic activity and bleeding risk. ([tsillc.net](https://www.tsillc.net/))
